Move-Out Drive: Help Track and Sort Donations

Volunteers are needed daily during finals week to help track and sort food, hygeine products, and other supplies donated by Drake students moving out of the residence halls. Stations will be set up in Olmsted 310-311. Volunteers can drop in any time between 10-12:30pm daily Monday 5/12 - Friday 5/16. Tasks include:

1. Inspect items and discard open and damaged items

2: Separate food from non-food items

3. Weigh food items and record weights in a log

4. Organize items on a Free Table and greet members of our campus community who come to "shop" (Volunteers are welcome to take items as well)

5. Distribute items to Little Free Pantries on campus and package overflow for donation to area non-profits
